Yikes. Time to bench Shea because this team isn't competitive.

That reputation puts even more pressure on the Wolverines, which might explain why one mistake can often snowball into disaster in big games.

That first sentence: Michigan hasn't won a single game it wasn't supposed to win under Harbaugh.

Why would he get fired? He is 40–14 at Michigan.

5 years in Michigan now and he's accomplished nothing! Yes they went from being a dumpster fire to solid but nobody has ever given achievements or championships for "not being a laughingstock". He peaked was with the 49ers.
He does look badass with ray-bans though

His predecessor was 75-23 and even beat Ohio State and still got fired.
In college, who you beat matters just as much as winning games.

When he loses to OSU he's done. He'll do what he always does and beat Rutgers, Indiana so he'll live into then.

0 playoff appearances. He cannot beat Ohio State. The fans are rabid and demand a championship.

I don't think you know how college football works.
A decent ranked team SHOULD be beating a bunch of cupcake teams. Should be blowing them out but they don't (see Army last week).
It's the games against the other ranked teams and conference rivals that matter. And Harbaugh simply has not had many wins of that caliber.
EDIT: Tbf he had a nice handful last season (Penn State, Wisconsin, at Michigan State) but still the blowout loss at Ohio State kind of soured everything.

Brady Hoke was 31-20 at Michigan (5-7 his last season). In his last season they lost to Ohio St. 42-28, which was their third consecutive victory over Michigan.

No UM coach has that record. Not sure who you're talking about.

It's pretty much this. He'll be judged on how he fairs vs Wisc, OSU, Penn State, Mich St. So unless he pulls off a miracle vs OSU he's done.

He at least beat them once.
