So where are those guys who dont think Luck is worth 2 first round picks now?

Mind you this is my first time seeing Luck play just to see what all the uproar is about...but, the dude looks less than spectacular. Nice TD throw, but, for the most part, his throws have been behind receivers. And, he locks onto receivers. NFL defenses would eat this guy up. You guys serious about giving away two drafts for this dude???
i think people said the same thing about rodgers after his losing holiday bowl apperance
Mm, like I said...my first time seeing him play. Still, the way people are talking about him being a "once in a decade talent", etc., I was expecting much more poise and accuracy. From this game alone, I'd rather take Taylor. I'm officially on the Kolb bandwagon now. We KNOW Kolb is a gamer. For every Rodgers or Matt Ryans, there's a handful of Alex Smiths, Vince Youngs, Matt Leinarts, Chad Hennes, Matt Staffords (injury prone), etc.
Well said......
LOL EPIC FAIL.. Now THAT is well said !

lol @ "I'd rather take Taylor"....
Wow. Even if Luck threw 5 int's in this game I'd still take him anyday of the week over Tyrod.

Someone didn't watch very many Eagles games (specifically the most recent one).

Well, Kolb had that skillful pump-fake past the line of scrimmage getting Manny Lawson to bite

In watching that game, I think it's difficult to tell how good Luck is. He has an incredible offensive line and play-caller helping him.
Not to say that he isn't worthy of a #1 overall pick. But you can't deny that he has a great surrounding cast. When you only need to pass 40% of the time... things are easier.

It isnt difficult at all. He has perfect mechanics, has great touch on the ball, has terrific accuracy, and is mobile in the pocket. Does he benefit from a great OL - sure. However, that doesnt make his obvious skills any less noticeable.
