What a team player..
Arenas Sits With 'Sore' Knee, Later Claims Injury Was Fake
Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas sat out the team's preseason game against the Hawks on Tuesday night with a knee injury.
"His knee is acting up and is a little sore, and it looks like he's going to sit this one out," coach Flip Saunders said before the game.
However, after the game Arenas claimed that he wasn't as injured as it seemed.
"I told [Nick Young] I'd sacrifice playing tonight so he can get some time in because I know he's kind of frustrated he's not getting a chance to crack the [small forward] position, especially since we're going three guards," Arenas said with a smile.
"So I told him I'll go and fake an injury or say something's wrong with me so you can start."

LOL. Arenas is great. He has no filter, he just says s**t that would make a Public Relations Director cry. I wish there were more athletes like him.

Now Arenas is gonna be like..."Hey Nick, I'm gonna need that $$"...and Nick isn't going to pay him...and Arenas is going to grab his gun...and have another 50 game suspension.

Lol.
Most people who don't follow the NBA think Arenas is some sort of psychopath who tried to shoot his teammate, when he's a harmless prankster who manages to piss off a lot of people.

Exactly..I was talking to my dad when that happened (follows almost every sport besides NBA)..and he was like "That f**ker should be in jail!" and when he catches me watching NBATV he always asks "Who did that guy shoot now?" Lol

In any case, I'm glad that Gilbert seems to be the same.
After watching his media day interview, I was afraid that he would be business-like and boring instead of his normally cheerful self.

I forgot to mention this the other day, but Evan Turner looks terrible out there. I watched parts of the Philly/Boston game the other day, and it looks like Doug Collins has given the ball handling responsibilities to Jrue Holiday, and Turner doesn't know what to do with himself. It's gonna be interesting to see how that develops.
