Tyreke and Cousins is a sick combo. They have great frontcourt depth, and I really like Paul Westphal.

I think 'Reke needs to bump that 20.1 PPG to 28.1 PPG for the Kings to be in the playoffs. Thats also if Cousins plays like a "rookie" or not.

The Kings do certainly have the potential to be a good team, I just think they're a year away from playoffs.

Anyway, I also think a yr away. But wouldnt be surprised by a playoff apperance.

Nah. I really like our potential, but I just posted that I thought we were a year away. We definitely have the talent to compete. But I'm thinking more around 35 wins this year, and next year we take another jump.

But I'd be happy to be wrong.

I'm with crzy on this. If I had to predict who'd make the playoffs the Kings wouldn't make it, but I wouldn't be shocked if they did. They improved their interior defense more than any other team in the league, and Cousins is going to be good sooner than most people think he'll be, IMO.

I think so too. He is gonna have his ups and downs this year, but his ups will far outweigh his downs. Like their first two pre season games....1st game dominant, second game took alot of shots missed alot...

Not necessarily. No he doesn't.

He just needs to put up Brandon Roy-like numbers.

It depends what Cousins does IMO..if he plays like a "rookie" I expect 27-28 out of 'Reke to get in the playoffs..if Cousins has a solid year..who knows..maybe.

Still..teams I would expect to make the playoffs before the Kings:

1. Lakers
2. Mavericks
3. Thunder
4. Denver
5. Suns
6. Jazz
7. Clippers
8. Rockets
9. Warriors
10. Hornets
11. Kings

If they are healthy, they are in

Big IF..I dont think so, though.

OH, forgot the Spurs, they are a top 4 team in the West if healthy too

More like how the "good" have fallen. Great teams can win back to back.
