Well why don't you tell me where you think he'll go?

I would think more like 3rd round. He is productive but just not fast or explosive enough to be picked that high in my opinion

Perhaps.
I do like Taylor a lot though. I think he will have a good NFL career. I just dont think he goes as high as you project. I would go with top of 3rd but he could sneak into 2nd

4th-5th right now, not that great of acceleration and stiff lateral movement.

I think thats too low myself. Good hands, catches the ball well, good blocker, and tough. I agree on the lack of great acceleration would move him down a bit but not that far.

He will be long gone by round 4. Probably late 2 to mid 3.

Hmm I don't know. That sounds like a scouting report from 2 years ago. But i can almost guarantee he goes way higher than the 5th round.

I agree with you on his positives.

But you also earlier said he is "productive." Keep in mind he runs and has ran behind NFL-caliber lineman against college D's designed for speed to stop the spread.

He could go earlier because its a relatively weak RB class, espicially for power runners. Most top RBs coming out are smaller speed backs.
So are we all going to assume UCLA was holding back last week?

Looks like Stanford's D forgot to show up tonight. They better figure it out quickly.
Now if you guys want to talk RBs.....take a look on the other side of the field at Franklin. That boy has wheels.

I thought it was a TD

Looked like a TD to me.

They were talking on KNBR this morning about how UCLA quit because they knew winning meant nothing and how they didn't want to play Oregon.
