My bet is the Oregon Coach gets fined or something for the comment at halftime.
"I just want to know why they won't come talk to us. I think Jim and him got friends. I don't know."
I bet he'll have to apologize. I dunno if he gets fined though.
yeah they're good at apologizing for stuff at Oregon.
Yeah, I don't know how that works in college. Do they fine coaches like that, or is it just all handled in-house.
I'm pretty sure you get fined if you touch a ref or maybe if you cuss them out during post-game news conference or whatever. But other than that I dunno.
I just found this from last November:
Quote:
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Urban Meyer of Florida became the first coach to be disciplined under the Southeastern Conference's new policy regarding criticizing officials.
The SEC fined Meyer $30,000 Friday, two days after he said referees missed a late hit against quarterback Tim Tebow in No. 1 Florida's 41-17 victory over Georgia. Meyer sent video of the play to the SEC office, but his mistake was telling media that refs missed the call.
I can imagine if the Pac 10 has some sort of policy like this, the guy is looking to get fined. Not sure how universal these policies are, but it looks to be a conference to conference thing.
