LOL at OSU players NOT being suspended for the bowl game. Give me a break. I mean, I personally don't care about the "improper benefits" bulls**t, but if you're going to suspend the kids, at least act like you believe in your own rules. I see no reason why they shouldn't be suspended for the bowl game...except $$.

Apparently Pryor said on Twitter he paid for those tattoos.
I'm sure he did.....with the money he made from selling his s**t.

B/c that would eliminate the money that the NCAA, and Ohio State gets off licensing merchandise. It's about money in other words.

They should be suspended, but like you wrote, it's all about money. I can't stand how corrupt the college system is. It's f**king disgusting.

its just more hypocritical NCAA BS, IMO. Suspend them, fine, but why not suspend them for the bowl game? If they did something "bad enough" to warrant a 5 game suspension--just about HALF a season!--why not start it right now?
$$
The NCAA is mad because the kids made some extra cash that could have gone to the NCAA itself. And they're not going to jeapordize a big windfall of money that the bowl games are by suspending the star players...So they give a half-assed blatantly hypocritical punishment. I hate the NCAA.

Damn dude Vincent Brown is BEASTING in the Poinsettia Bowl right now.
6 for 143 yards and a TD. Dude's got WHEELS.
Plus their QB is ballin' too. Quick release, zip, and accuracy.
I really don't know if this is normal though. Literally the first time I've ever seen them play.

some guy on espn was saying that the ncaa has its "sacred cows" which are the big 10 and the pac 10, and that if it were Ryan Mallet found guilty of that stuff he would have been suspended for the bowl game, because the ncaa only punishes the SEC

IMO colleges shouldn't be able to play a "home game" such as San Diego St. or Hawaii both playing at home.

One reason why I hate college FB, well, don't respect the NCAA at all. 1st, players should be able to get paid. Amount of money their parents pay out, they pay out and most of them will not make the nfl. Second, even if your against boosters giving money to players, for them to get in trouble for pawning their stuff or getting discounts at tattoo parlors is pathetic and the NCAA should be ashamed

I guess it's a rule. I think if it's their stuff they should be able to do whatever they want with it, donate it, keep it, or use it to get tattoos. not all rules make sense
