Portugal v Chile ended ina 1-1 draw.

Lots of attack minded futbol and a enjoyable game to watch. Portugal manager Paulo Bento still mixing up the formations to see which would be the best fit for the squad. We started a lot of younger players today.

Also Fernandes from Chile scored a rocket of a goal.

Chile with the experienced youth from the WC and their coach are gonna be a force in South America for at least another four years

Oh, and GO USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now if only the USA could learn to play for a whole 90min, lol

Happy with a 1-1 tie, let's hope the international friendly vs England works out more smoothly

Who is Mexico playing?

USA vs. Messi is tonight, right?

Yup

Oh and if anyone is watching the Mexico vs Paraguay match, two quick questions:

1. How nasty does that Mexican team look? God I hope the US can build up their backfield b/c that frontline of Mexico is gonna be better than the Argentinean front line in the next two years

2. Is there ANY Paraguay fans there? All is see is a sea of El Tri, lol

Not sure about that. Mexico will be really good, but Messi - Tevez - Kun - Di Maria - Higuain - that's a filthy group to pick your forwards/attacking mid-field from.

Not to mention, Pastore is also there.

I agree, nevertheless this new infusion of scoring forwards for Mexico is just what they've been needing, countless times I've seen games where they play great and can't finish.

Hopefully for Mexico they finally add this final ingredient to the mix and still play great soccer in the upper 3/4's of the field

haha. I agree man. No way Mexico's youth can compete with Pastore and Kun. Only Chicharito is better than them at the moment.

Good games today, but we all know the big games are tomorrow.

Go Spurs! But, I want to see Real vs. Barca in Semis. So conflicted right now.

Damn non-functioning live streams, really hate justin.tv right now....

As screwed as Tottenham appears, the Inter-Schalke 04 match was looking pretty sweet (before my stream got taken off)
