Yeah, that commercial is pretty lame.
Still, shut yo mouf!

Says the guys who support Sasha Vujacich, easily the gayest athlete ever.

Tim Duncan is amazing. He made Anthony Randolph look like a sick baby giraffe last night.
RJ seems to be improving on both ends. I get the feeling he'll end up having the most mpg on the team, playing with all sorts of units. He needs minutes on the floor so Pop can figure out how to use him. He also gives Manu a chance to rest more.
Tony Parker is slow and plays like he's always tired. When will the Spurs finally put their foot down on NT summer play?
I'm slightly less concerned now than I was a week ago. The Spurs are winning against weak competition, and their road record is pathetic. But their losses against top competition have been close. If they (*cough* Parker *cough*) can control TOs, this team is going to be fine.

Says the guy who's girlfriend isn't Maria Sharapova.

That's just a shame. What a terrible way for Sasha to cover it up.

I went to the game tonight (twelfth row!), and I have a few thoughts:
1.) NBA players are tall. Really tall.
2.) Richard Jefferson looks like a dolphin.
3.) Sebastian Telfair has Kimmy Gibbler legs. Dude looks like he's about to crumble.
4.) Tony Parker is fast, even when he's slow.
5.) McDyess is solid as a rock.
6.) Ratliff came out of nowhere and wandered into my heart.
7.) Tim Duncan is still an MVP-caliber player.
8.) The Spurs are still a schizophrenic team.
One funny note: Tony Parker's brother was sitting two rows in front of me. When RJ was shooting free throws, he was mocking him to Tony. A French guy in a pink shirt and a white beret was making fun of RJ . . . for being gay. And Tony joined in the fun. No joke.

I'm still wondering when Pop or our GM start looking for an apprentice coach. Pop has been far too predictable these past few years. Developing an apprentice may be a solid option.

It would be nice to find a fresh face who has not coached yet. I am sick of retreads.
