I doubt any other manager would do differently. Why risk a lead with such a great player at the plate? Teams do this all the time, it isn't limited to Torre.

Seriously why give Pujols some pitches when your goal is to win the series?
Thats just stupid and probably every LA fan would want Torre's head if he decided to pitch to Albert every game at every at bat.
