Bama should be favored by at least 3 in the BCS title game. I think they are just too strong for Texas.

I can't imagine how crummy it must feel to be a Husker fan. Sorry, dude. You guys probably deserved to win that game. Oh well.
Bring on, Negrodamus.

Texas doesn't stand a chance against Alabama.
They benefited from a very weak Big XII this year, and they've been barely winning with an average offense and an average defense.
It's too bad too, because they should've been in the National Championship last year, but they weren't. BCS never gets it right.
*sigh* 5 undefeated teams, and no playoffs. It's a travesty.

I'll be rooting for TX, but I don't think they have much of a chance against Alabama.

I love that Texas is in the underdog role against a supposedly unbeatable team in the title game. Sounds exactly like what happened the last time they won it. One bad game doesn't erase what I saw all season. They still have the best defense in college football and will beat Alabama.

I'd take Suh, that's fo sho. But yeah, I wonder if this Alabama team could possibly beat a bad NFL team. And are they the greatest of all time, too?

To be fair, Texas has had more than one bad game this year---but still has managed to win every time. Texas had only one bad game last year, and it resulted in a loss. The other games Texas played amazing football.
Truth is, last year's team was more explosive and it's defense was about the same.
But all this talk about Bama killing Texas is annoying. Bama has played like crap this year, too. Florida scared me more.
Bama has really only struggled against Auburn and LSU (should have been a loss, actually). Florida played like crap a lot more. They needed the officials to beat Arkansas, and needed big help from the officials (you don't need to have the ball in your hand to score a TD!) to make sure Mississippi State didn't have a chance. Towards the end of the season, I though Bama was better than Florida.
That being said, there's absolutely no reason to think they'll dominate Texas, who I think is better than Florida.

I never thought FLA was as good as it's record, eventually someone figured out they only run 5-6 plays and stopped them. They had little to no passing game, like most of the SEC and it showed. Texas plays the same offense but is set up to pass instead of run, which Bama doesn't see in the SEC because they have to good to great QBs. The only worry I have is that I don't think Colt has ever seen a 3-4 defense. This game should be a defensive battle that comes down to who makes plays in the 4th. I like Colt's experience in big, esp bowl games, vs McElroy who will be new to the big stage.

Eh, he probably doesn't need the extra motivation. But VY certainly felt like he had something to prove after Reggie won it in 2005.
Heisman or not, Colt is now the most decorated player in Texas history after last nights awards. Kind of hard to beleive considering the players that have come out of UT. Good for him.
