Oh, he's the man alright. There is no question this Lee deal has his fingerprints all over it. It might even be sweeter than the reaming he gave former Phillies GM Ed Wade in Houston when we stole Lidge from them for Michael Bourn and a whole bunch of nothing.
And like in that trade where we got Bruntlett thrown in, and he played an important role for us last year, Francisco could be a great 4th OF and bat off the bench this year.
The more I think about it, the more I love this deal.
