I'd rather see Pac vs Clottey , Mosley or Margarito first.
You know Floyd isn't going to fight the big money fight right away. He's gonna do some ''tune up '' safe matches before he fights Pac so he can get his money up.
Floyd's got this though.

Pac needs to go ahead rest and don't worry about Floyd. Everybody knows who is not a Floyd fan that he is going to ask for crazy numbers just so he can avoid Pac. He will then do so called Tune up fights to keep his record clean. Pac just needs to stay smart either rest or fight scrubs like Floyd until the big dance. Knowing Pac he won't hesitate to fight the next big name that comes up.

There are so many different routes Pac can take right now.
1. Berto/Mosley fights a unification bout in late January.
If Berto wins, I don't see Pacman fighting him. If Mosley wins however, there could be great appeal in Manny holding the WBA, WBO, and WBC welterweight belts. Sugar Shane would definitely be a tougher fight for Pacman than Cotto.
2. The third and final installment of Pacman/ Marquez
3. The obvious Floyd fight.
4. A risky "tune-up" fight for any of the other junior welterweight belts. Timothy Bradley is dangerous...Juan Urango would probably be the easier beltholder to go after.

1st Round KO is HIGHLY UNLIKELY. I'm so juiced....Can't WAIT..
Post your predictions fellas...
Pacman TKO in Round 10
Pac with 6 rounds to Cotto's 3 before TKO
I kinda think Manny will dance around once he feels the bull headed Cotto. Dance enough to get a decision......
Yeah I do see this happening. In fact, that was a similar gameplan that they had against DLH. Go in, pepper him with shots, and then GTFO and repeat. Had DLH not quit on his stool, I think Manny would have KO'd him.
I never understood why people are hating on Manny saying that he couldn't KO Delahoya. Making a grown man, battle tested Hall of Famer QUIT is even more impressive in my opinion!
That, and De La Hoya's fought the most vicious punchers out there, and no one was able to KO him except Hopkins (who isn't a hard puncher but his body shot that KO'd DLH was perfectly placed). De La Hoya's chin was legendary.
Rounds 2-4 of Pacquiao-Cotto were Hearns-Hagler calibur rounds.

I don't think anyone's hating on Manny for the DLH fight, it's just that the DLH that went in against Manny was a shell of his former self. He was fighting at a weight that he hadn't fought at since 2001. Plus, Roach, who trained Oscar for the Mayweather fight, even said so himself that Oscar couldn't pull the trigger anymore, that's why he didn't hesitate to get Manny to take the fight.

Manny's such a sweet guy, dedicates this song to Cotto
