Im not to excited other than its the Finals.
Lakers should easily handle the Magic in 5 or 6. I pray its not a sweep, I pray even more that it goes 7.

I'm still shocked that the Magic made it this far. Kind of funny that they beat the Celtics with their guard play, and Cleveland with the play of their big man. Nice to be able to do that.
I think Orlando has a tough match-up. The one thing I'll say is that Orlando is a tougher team, and play with alot more heart than LA does. I think the Lakers can contain Howard(unless Gasol plays him 1-on-1) and Odom will be able to play Lewis tighter than anyone has so far.
Lakers in 6
Orlando dodged a bullet when KG went down. That was a bad matchup for them with him in the lineup.
I know. He really locked down Lewis over the last 2 seasons when they played.
I'm really amazed at how they just pummeled Cleveland. I was never really sold on Cleveland, but they had a GREAT regular season, and did things that only great teams do. I think Orlando has a shot, but I have a tough time seeing them win 4 games.

Odom will be the reason why the Lakers win. All Odom needs to do is concentrate on defense and shut down Lewis or Hedo and Odom CAN do this as Kobe will be able to handle a some from time to time.
I just don't see Orlando winning. The Lakers have too much athletic length and Orlando can't exploit it the way they did to CLE.

You guys haven't gotten respect all year...you think that's gonna start now?
I think the Lakers win it in 6, but I don't think there will be anything "easy" about it.

I think the Lakers win it in 6, but I don't think there will be anything "easy" about it.
Given their overall talent, experience, and the fact that they have the game's best player, the Lakers should win it in 6. I can foresee the Odom/Gasol disappearing act hurting the Lakers, though. And the bench has been . . . inconsistent.
Go Magic, but Lakers win this thing.
Orlando has much more than just a puncher's chance, no doubt.
But while there's the real possibility of Orlando winning for exactly the reasons you mentioned, there's also a possibility that we click on close to all cylinders, which we've only done once this postseason....Game 6 vs. Denver. The Laker dominance in that game wasn't just the product of hitting 3's or anything like that, they were all repeatable cuts, ball movement, and defensive rotations that CAN be done every game. That was the Laker team I was expecting this postseason. So if that team, or close to it, shows up each game, this series can be over in 4 or 5 as well. That's not at all intended to be disrespect toward the Magic. I just think that our best is VERY hard to beat. I also get somewhat of an impression that Orlando is happy to be here.
That being said, there's nothing to indicate that the Lakers WILL play that cohesively on a regular basis. I was off in my "domination throughout the playoffs" prediction (comparing the team to 2001), because that team knew exactly what needed to be done to win a title. This team doesn't, and I didn't account for that.

Like me, Lakers in 5 or 6. I have a feeling Kobe is going to rip the heart out of the Orlando Magic.

I think experience counts for something in the Finals, and I think the Lakers will be helped by last year in this series.

I would LOVE to see the Magic sweep them to silence the all mighty Lakers
To me it's like watching the Yankees lose
