nope, they were eliminated in round 3...with only 2 points in group 2. Honduras and Mexico qualified to round 4 with 12 and 10 points respectively. Round 3 consists of Mexico, US, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, and Trinidad and Tobago.

i think the top 3 advance to the WC and 4th and 5th play a tournament somewhere else for a spot in the World cup.

where were you when this happened? I imagine its the first thing Canada has won that doesnt involve Hockey so itd be a big deal.

Had to bump this thread tired of posting in the Mexicos thread.
Tough loss yesterday, it was expected that mexico would try everything to win.
I like our chances to finish in 1st place.

I hate to get caught in that whole Mexico-USA war. But i really do like both teams, as they both represent me.
