If Burnett just so happens to get injured, big deal. We still have Hughes and Aceves in Triple A. The Yanks know what they're doing.

yeah because those two guys were soooooooooo great last year! No, if Burnett turns out to be a waste of money and do nothing for you guys (what a surprise that would be ), you'll just waste as much money necessary on the next big name guy.

Aceves was great last year. Hughes kicked it up a notch at the end of the season, I'd like to see consistency.

Props to you on the CC signing but Burnett is always injured and their not about to go away as he gets older, most likely will only get worse. You guys gave too much money to him.

But you guys are the Yankees, money is no prblem to you so if he suddenly finds the magical invincibility cloke then great job.

apparently, the Cameron for Cabrera deal is still in the works, but the yanks may add a pitcher from the 40 man roster, into the deal, my only guess is it would be a Jonathan Albaladejo or Chase Wright, the rest seem like top prospects, or major leaguers.

Yanks To Go After Manny, Teixeira

New York Post - The Yankees reportedly remain in the race to sign Mark Teixeira, and if they don't, they could turn their attention towards Manny Ramirez.

"If they can't get Teixeira, they are right there on Manny," an official with knowledge of the Yankees' plan said Saturday.

Even after landing CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett, the Yankees aren't out of the pitching market just yet.

They remain engaged with Andy Pettitte, Derek Lowe and Ben Sheets. Eventually, the Yankees believe Pettitte will take their $10 million offer.
