105 responses on this has been. I don't get it. It reminds me of Peter Lorre's 3 minutes in 'Casablanca'.
"Rick you despise me don't you"
"If I gave you any thought I probably would".

He's a body that we need right now. There's definitely no good WRs we can just pick up without trading for one. At least he understands the offense and I think that was what Kyle/Lynch was thinking when they decided to sign him.
Need to get Tyreek here to start learning the playbook.

I still don't understand this signing at all.
Shanahan wanted to set a new precedent by putting the same wide receiver in his doghouse twice in 2 separate stints by the player.
Here's some highlights from his time with the Saints. If he can duplicate some of this with the 49ers til we get our starters healed up, I'm good with that.

I am not against them filling their entire PS of WRS and Dlinemen since it seems that's where all our injuries are coming from.

Would rather fire Kyle
I wish he could return punts because he set the all-time record in college. He's just too scared of contact it seems like. He's really chill and mellow, I hung out with him for a bit a few times when he was out in Newport Beach at the bars.

He does run really good routes and can break ankles, I just wish he had more of that tough football player in him. Such a waste. Hopefully, he never has to see the field
He could be a player who other teams "forget" about in crunch time, give you that one key play down the field

"49ers Legend?"

Idk how he has been playing at all recently, he was on the Bills last? They didn't keep him long.

I don't think any team has kept him for long.
I'd like to "forget" about him, any time. Is that ok?

He said he doesn't want to go to a warm weather team. Estimates are that he might be ready to play by the end of October.

I'll take some of that.

If this guy can generate any interest close in game reports to what he has so far in this thread, he will be All-Pro.

honestly there were some nice plays in there. Doesn't seem to have lost much speed. Still nice releases, routes, still very elusive
Man, I had such high hopes for Pettis. I remember reading reports of him going to play basketball with the UW team and dunking on dudes. Guy was a crazy good athlete. I'm actually surprised he's still playing football. He always struck as a guy who didn't love football but was good at it.
