It's interesting, I think Pettis has obviously matured some since entering the league, and it seems physically too – the practice clips do show noticeably more muscle mass than he had back then.

Doesn't mean he'll be a good player but shouldn't be any worse with all the years of experience now. I wouldn't be surprised to see him brought back to compete next year if he shows something.

I have a weird feeling this might just work. Seems to have matured, looks bigger, but still has that ability to get open via savvy route running. Might be on to something here. And he's only 30, which is older but not crazy old.

we look like the top team in the game, yet nfl there is not much separating the teams. the fact this thread exists is not a good sign. in the PYMWYMI i had this week as our first L of the season broncos are pretty legit, and if we have deebo, cooks, pettis, we may have our work cut out.

You need healthy bodies for practice. He hopefully remembers enough of the offense that he can jump into practice and provide some reps. He is on the practice squad, and unlikely to get any playing time.
