Evans is a game time decision.

I wouldn't play him, or as another web zoner posted, he'll be a decoy. He's too valuable to play and be potentially lost for the playoffs. I'd rather sit him and go with our younger players and healthy vets than endanger him. I'd rather play him when he's healed up.

He's not be lost for the season bc of a rib injury lol. At worst he aggravates even more or even breaks a rib and will be out a few weeks.

This. Dude is a vet who's said he's already played through a similar injury.

Yeah, but has he ever played with our Electrical Substation before?

Aggravated rib injury lasting weeks is the last thing I want for Evans. I also want to see how our younger WR's players do in a real game. So by sitting him, Evans gets healthier and we can see what Cowing and Watkins can do and the recently signed vets can do. That's two for the price of one.

It will be a disappointment for me if Kyle isn't confident in playing Cowing more, that means he's not developing as a WR.
I am cool with sitting Evans, I want him against Seattle.

Kyle said there are a some WRs that earned playing time ahead of Cooks when asked if he would see some action this weekend.

im guessing RZ and decoy this weekend

If he can occupy Surtain, that will be good enough.
I would use him only in RZ, don't need cheap shots as a decoy
Win if we can, lose if we must but I want Greenlaw and Warner to kick some asses out there and set the tone for the D!!!!

Moss is whom we should be targeting through the air.

I'm excited to see how we use cooks this week. Apparently dude still has a ton of speed and agility. I was always hoping we would get him in his prime but he was too costly.

deebo, cook, Watson, Kittle, CMC, Juice - still not a bad group to throw to. If our run game gets going, Brock will chop them up.

I hope we see a lot of keion black. He needs to get a little more patient with his runs but his down hill ability will be great to wear down the broncos, IMO.

I remember the '88 game. It was very windy that day. Broncos won at the end, iicr.

Yes.....Denver 16-13 (OT). It was one of those crazy 2nd half wind games in Candlestick, early October. Penalty and mistake-marred contest. Dubious penalty wiped out a late INT in regulation for SF, but Karlis missed (in a heavy gust) a short FG attempt at the end of regulation. Then Montana was sacked in OT and had to leave with a rib injury. Young came in and immediately threw an interception to stop an opportunity. On the ensuing possession inside their own 10, Young and Rice mis-connected for the interception that sealed the game for Denver. That '88 season had a few of these what-if games and nagging injuries, which appeared at first they would doom the season. Then things were righted in the last month.....and Walsh finished his coaching career with SF on a high note. Oh....Denver and SF met the following year for a rematch.....a little different result.

Regardless of what you think of the level of competition we've faced, that's a pretty insane stat.

Absolutely crazy stat about the offense

Probably would of had a lot more TDs if our defense had more stops.

Hope Cooks can get one of these in from Brock this Sunday.
CMC. Black. James. Run it down their throats. Wear them out. Hot afternoon. Keep the RBs fresh Control the clock.
