Also Mike Evans is 'hella old', lol.
Thankfully he's built like a tank.

I know its X but people were saying why didnt we trade for a young WR. I mean our system is complicated and we get Stribling and DRob back by like week 10 (DRob should be back earlier). We need a guy who knows our system and can start immediately when needed. I also would rather give Watkins and Cowing a chance

He is old. The difference between this guy and Evans is Evans is crazy productive still. This guy isn't.

Old is just a number. What really matters is the current health and conditioning of the player. We've seen guys look old and washed up that were only in their 20s and others that were still playing well into their mid or late 30s.

We have 4 players on the roster that all ran about the same time in the 40 (4.36-4.40) Stribling, Pearsall, Watkins and Cowing. All of them are now or have been injured and haven't been able to show much. At least we know Cooks can produce if he can stay on the field.

He'll play through it this year but will need a full blown hip replacement after ending his career

If you call 200 yards production… that's his season average the last 4 years

For a 4th or 5th receiver, that isn't bad.

Who's ahead of him now? Evans, Samuel, maybe Hodges? Cooks will probably be our #2 receiver by mid season

Kyle wouldn't. He expects too much from his WR's before he trusts them, why he's only had a few guys develop in 10 years and most of them are no longer with the team.
