This is 10-7 and is what I see. A few of those losses will be in close games so they could swing but overall I see a 10-7 record and if they get in, it iwll be a first round or second round exit . . . too old, too many of their elites are old and are going to miss games to avoid season ending injuries. I could see this being 11-6 to 8-9 just as well. I see a competitive team here, not a dominating one and a team/organization needing to really evaluate their future after this season. Hope I am wrong, bring on the season and lets see what happens! Are you ready for some footballl?

EDIT: I posted this on the telephone but perhaps now from a keyboard I can explain a little. The team are too old, and hoping that 4 major pieces (I count last year's 1st rounder here charitably) come back to 100% from season enders. This almost never happens, especially not for all four players, and especially not when three of them are now getting on in years. And I say this as someone who loves Kittle and Warner especially to bits. Both our lines are unproven (if we're charitable) or a mess (if we're not). We're not awful or talentless, and we have great coaching and a fantastic QB, but it's too much to ask, especially in such a loaded division. I wouldn't be shocked if we go 2-4 in division games, and that's too big a hole to climb out of. I think we're going to be around .500 in games outside the division, hence 7-10 or perhaps 8-9.

It's an older team relying on guys trying to stay healthy. Plus some guys coming back from injury who we have no idea how good they will be. Like Mykel Williams, George Kittle and Nick Bosa. We really have no idea how close to 100% they will be or way off from that or when they will be ready. Then they need to rely on CMC, Trent Williams and Deebo staying healthy. Which often they don't. Especially at this age. Trent is getting older. Then they are relying on young guys like Stribling who I really like but who knows what happens with a rookie when the games start. The expectations are really high. We will see how it goes. They further never invest in the offensive line. Just middle and late round picks and cast off free agents. While hoping Trent stays healthy which is what holds it together. We are only superior at LT. Others are hit and miss. I think Puni is pretty good when HEALTHY. He was hurt with the bad knee and a lot the complaining was about that. He wasn't fully healthy.

It's not a completely useless team. But some guys coming off injury, guys getting older, injury history players and big expectations for young players. Those are hardly guarantees. If they stay healthy and some rookies are pretty good like Stribling I think it can go to 10 - 7 or 11 - 6 in that scenario. But I see the Rams and Seahawks as better than us in the division. At least as of now. A lot can change in season as things come together or not and injuries happen on various teams.
