Disagree? We beat them once and almost beat them for a second time with a practice squad

Seahawks can make the exact same claim. They lost Nick Emmanwori like 10 snaps into the game in week 1. That guy single handedly shut down Kittle, CMC and Juice.

"Almost" If almost meant something, there'd be a ton of new shiny banners hanging from Levi's.
They can't make that same claim. Emm doesn't play offense. They could only muster up 13 points in each game.

if we had our starters in the last regular season game, we send them on the road and one and done in the playoffs

Nope.

We saw the impact Emmanwori made in the last 2 matchups. Anyone denying his game-wrecking impact is either delusional, lying or ignorant. That guy alone changes thegame.

Are we ready for the injury excuse again this season for the 49ers? Because we all know damn well they're going to be banged up all year. They're already hobbling into the preseason.

In the last two games we were ravaged by injuries though. In the first game our best reciever was Jennings, who is a decent wr 2 or 3.

Instead; they got their second SB before we got one.

We actually have 5.

TIL the 49ers have never won a SB and that the NFL has only existed since 2002.

For all of the focus on scheme, how much of our problem against the Seahawks in the last two match ups was simply that the Seahawks had a lot more talent on defense than we had available to us on offense?

It's certainly both. They're loaded with talent that's uniquely designed to stop Shanahan's multiplicity and his player's versatility while also having the horses to execute MacDonald's demonic scheme. I don't feel good about matching up against them at all.

I hope I'm proven wrong.

Healthy, the niners beat them.

And we were not even healthy if you think about it week one. No Brandon Aiyuk, no Kittle for OVER 3 quarters after he worked them on that first drive.

Also, Pearsall had NO problem getting 100+ yards vs their cbs and now Seattle lost their second corner and a safety.

It's ok if some people are in not going to consider the reality here because they're too emotional about the Seahawks and their defense. Let's not forget they don't have much of an offense and their quarterback is not that good. They have no second corner no second Safety and no second Receiver unless you think catching one or two balls a game for a possible deep play is a good second receiver.

in training cmap injuries get exaggerated because they dont practice usually these injuries are where the player will play but they are kept out for precautionary purposes. Football is a physical game and if you play 5 times in a week you will get a minor injury.

You literally said the 49ers have yet to get one Super Bowl.

If you counter with "those teams are ancient and don't matter" I'll counter with the 2013 Seahawks and Niners being irrelevant too, as the rosters and coaching staffs are entirely different. So then we're down to simply comparing the last handful of years, where it's one SB win vs. zero. Which, yeah, we all don't like, but that's hardly some profound realization.

I don't understand something, the last few practices there's been one or more guys getting held out because of some minor injury or small tweak of something. But for example, Evans and Black are out of practice today and while KB didn't finish the previous practice, Evans did. My point is how do they keep having player(s) out of a given practice with some ailment when they usually finished the last practice just before. When and where the hell did they get injured between practices is what I can't figure out.

It's because they are now extremely cautious with very minor injuries.

If guys have hangnails in August I expect them to miss time.
Persistent, soft tissue injuries are on the training staff. At some point, people have to held accountable.

Or Mike Evans is an older player and they are being cautious after he woke up with a quad more sore than usual.
So, what's the excuse for the younger guys then (not including James, obviously)? Calf strains, quads, hamstrings, adductors...

We all want the 49ers to succeed. Sometimes, calling out obvious patterns that need addressing is necessary.

Why don't you call the Niners and tell their training staff what they're doing wrong.
Wait, so we can't criticize or question anything now? What's the point of having a forum then? Gimme a break. If you can't have a constructive convo regarding the team without resorting to junior high girl retorts, maybe it's time for a break

Sure you can criticize but if you think they're doing something wrong that infers that you know how to do it right. It's easy to criticize but I doubt anyone on this forum knows a way to stop the injuries.

I hate to bring this up again, but I seriously doubt they stretch right or long enough. When you watch some of them pre-game they're half assing it through stretches and warm ups.
