team just signed Brandin Cooks. adding OBJ is unnecessary.
We tried out Dante Pettis. I'd rather have OBJ.
I'd rather have a BJ.

For whatever reason Kyle doesn't see OBJ as a fit. He's had plenty of opportunities in the past to sign him but doesn't. In fact this past offseason didn't Kyle coach OBJ in a flag football tournament? He could have easily invited OBJ to camp but chose not to.
I don't know what the deal is, maybe OBJ doesn't like blocking I dunno but it's time for some of you to close the door on the OBJ to SF thingy.

Going back to Kirk, when I saw him play for Cardinals the first time, I thought this guy is going to be their next WR star after Fitz and Boldin( he actually flashed some really excellent route running). But I don't know what happened to him then…it was like just a flash in the pan. Hopefully, Purdy is going to be the catalyst for him to get his mojo back

This is exactly why I try not to et too excited or disappointed in first or second year players. Some flash early and fade. Some struggle early and then the light comes on and they become valuable parts of the team. People that evaluate a draft are often wrong.

If week 6 is when his window is open, the dude must've completely torn his calf. He got hurt in mid July and isn't returning til late October. 3 months is in line with total rupture.

I'd rather have a healthy Kirk than Malik Turner. Hopefully he's not injury prone when he comes back. We need him.

Lesser players would've been put on season ending IR in training camp after tearing a calf. They clearly think Kirk still has something special he can bring.
