Yup, Sorensen simply didn't have the coaching chops to adapt the way Saleh could when the injury bug started a 49er player feeding frenzy.

I really hope Morris works out and will be our DC for the foreseeable future, It is absolutely frustrating seeing us go through DCs year in and year out stunting development and it's looking like our defense has no identity it's even worse that we have had 2 guys that were amazing but left to be HCs. Thank god we have Warner as the field general

He's proven not to be a very good head coach (Tampa Bay, Atlanta). Hopefully he won't be poached for a while. I'm hoping no NFL owner wants to give that 3rd chance to Raheem to get a shot at the round 1, pick 1 of the 2028 draft.

3rd HC gigs are rare. Norv Turner comes to mind. I don't see Morris being seen as a must-have guy again, especially with most HC coming from offense these days.
