2026 49er free agents

There aren't really any must signs on the list aside from Pinero and Jennings.

Pinero needs to be brought back. He has been great. I think Jennings will sign elsewhere for more money. He will be missed. Maybe we bring him back if we can get rid of Aiyuk's contact.

Sky Moore should be brought back. He has been great as a returner

Burford and Bartch can both walk. We need an upgrade at LG badly.

Bourne, Hennessy and Robinson should be brought back. They are valuable depth players.

No-one on D has to be brought back. Maybe we sign one of Jordan Elliot or Kalia Davis as a rotational DT but we need at least one starting DT. That's our biggest need IMO.

All the RFA's should be brought back. They are all valuable players.

Trent is still one of the best LT's in the game. He's good for another year. He just held the best defensive player in the game to 1 sack on a ridiculous pass rush move.

Aiuyk. Who cares. Let the diva go play for the Jets. We are a top 5 passing team without him and should have never paid him. Addition by subtraction.

CMC? The guy who is the best weapon in the league? He has a few good years left in him.

Pearsall. Needs to stay healthy.

Bosa and Warner. Studs. They will be back 100%

LG and C? Yes, but we seem to have success with anyone who we plug in.

I'd bring back either Bartch or Burford for depth purposes

and any one of: YGM / Elliott / Davis / Givens (Kalia Davis would be my preference) for depth purposes too

I think Morstead said he was retiring so Punter will be a need. Weeks is pretty old himself.

With Aiyul and Jennings gone, that's MORE than enough to sign top tier talents

Ferrell definitely needs to be brought back, as does Burford. And with all these years of crap returners I can't bear the thought of losing Skyy Moore.

Ferell feels like no brainer for player and team, ideal 4/5 edge on this roster. Only 28 and he has been durable and he fits our scheme well. His stints and with LV, WASH, LAC shows he is very scheme specific and should be very cheap. If he accepts role he could make consistent good money (real life not nfl good) in sf for a decent amount of time

Burford if cheap is a great fit for depth at ol, should be able to be adequate at G and T in a pinch with long arms

I want Moore back. Bad returners cost games (Kyle williams) highest paid return man is less 5 mill cap hit, feels like a cheap place to splurge and fell comfortable

I want pineiro or any consistent vet

Bring all RFA.

Other than that, pay no one. Get rookie deals and develop and save money for big ticket game changers OT, C, WR, OG, DT, edge, FS

The RFAs & ERFAs are easy re-signings, oh Kalia Davis is a RFA in 2026, he spent his rookie year on NFI so he never got an accrued year, so he will only have 3 accrued years, so it makes him an RFA.

UFA wise I think Skyy Moore, Brian Robinson Jr., and Eddy Piniero need to be re-signed, I'd love to have Jauan & Bourne back, not sure what they'll command, Bourne should be cheaper, Morstead & Weeks should be easy re-signings, 1yr minimum deals, I'd also bring back Jordan Elliot, I doubt Givens is brought back, he;s been inactive past 3 or so games.
