Alright big dog! Sounds like you're a fan. I didn't dive much into him but from what I've seen - seems like an excellent prospect who can stop the run really well (huge plus in my book for a young player).
What kind of upside are we looking at? I just saw a stat that opponents averaged 0.1 yards when he made a tackle - hopefully he didn't have a high miss tackle rate

That's considered bad?

Bruh, that's exactly who he looks like. He don't need those kinda expectations tho.
Love it!

This is so underwhelming a pick...
Him getting 5 sacks and matching his college production would be considered a good season and we wasted a first round pick on him...
Georgia uses a heavy DL rotation. Travon Walker maxxed out at 6 sacks in college. He's two consecutive double digit sack seasons in the NFL.
They're betting on the upside of a 20 year old guy who is ready to contribute from Day 1 but still has a lot of room for improvement.

niners coulda gotten him in the 3rd round
They do that most years under Shany / Lynch. I hate these guys so much. Got to get rid of them both.
This is the same type of pick we made in round 2 after we traded all our first round picks for Trey Lance.

I wasn't feeling him but everyone else I liked more was gone.
if nothing else he improves the run defense right away.

Excited to see Williams in this defense. Now let's get him a disruptive DT to help replenish the dline for Saleh & this defense

Hard to be mad about the pick. Lots of question marks at 11. Seems like some huge upside. Dude looks the part and plays violently. Let's go.

Has the measured Les for the wide five.
Can't Teach Size.
Should hold/seal the edga opposite Bosa very well. Promising pick with SO MUCH Upside.
Very hopeful!

Lmao. Most mocks have him as a 10-15 pick.

Very good pick. Fully behind this one. Kid is 20 and can play the run. Has inside rush potential as he grows into his frame. Has excellent pass rush potential at his size, length, speed.

Williams as he fully matures will likely be playing somewhere around 275. He's a big, physical DE. Closer to Justin Smith in size.
