I didn't see any thread about people projecting the 2025 53-man roster, so forgive me if I missed it, I searched, nothing came up, but here's mine as of now.
OFFENSE:
QB(3): 13 Brock Purdy(2025), 10 Mac Jones(2026), & 4 Tanner Mordecai(2025) or Rookie Draft Pick(2028)

TE(3): 85 George Kittle(2025), -- Luke Farrell(2027), & 88 Jake Tonges(2025) or 9 Brayden Willis(2025) or Rookie Draft Pick(2028)
C(2): 64 Jake Brendel(2026), & 61 Matt Hennessy(2025)
LG(2): 78 Ben Bartch(2025), & 74 Spencer Burford(2025)
RG(2): 77 Dominick Puni(2027), & 63 Nick Zakelj(2025)
LT(1): 71 Trent Williams(2026)
RT(2): 68 Colton McKivitz(2025), & Rookie Draft Pick(2028)
DEFENSE:
DE(5): 97 Nick Bosa(2028), 94 Yetur Gross-Matos(2025), 91 Sam Okuayinonu(2025), 51 Robert Beal Jr.(2026), & Rookie Draft Pick(2028)
DT(3): 90 Kevin Givens(2025), 92 Jordan Elliott(2025), & Rookie Draft Pick(2025)
NT(2): 93 Kalia Davis(2025), & 69 Evan Anderson(2025)
WLB(2): 53 Dee Winters(2026), & -- Luke Gifford(2025)
MLB(1): 54 Fred Warner(2026)
SLB(2): 48 Tatum Bethune(2027), & Rookie Draft Pick(2028)
CB(6): 2 Deommodore Lenoir(2029), 0 Renardo Green(2027), -- Tre Brown(2025), -- Siran Neal(2026), 28 Darrell Luter Jr.(2026), & Rookie Draft Pick(2028)
FS(3): 27 Ji'Ayir Brown(2026), -- Richie Grant(2025), & -- Jason Pinnock(2025)
SS(2): 6 Malik Mustapha(2027), & 30 George Odum(2026)
SPECIAL TEAMS:
PK(1): 4 Jake Moody(2026)
P(1): 3 Mitch Wishnowsky(2026)
LS(1): 46 Jon Weeks(2025)
I know have 54 players and/or Draft Picks, I'm assuming either Aiyuk starts on reserve/PUP, or Robinson begins on reserve/Suspended for the DUI he had last year.
In no way are players like Tonges, Willis, Zakelj, Beal, Davis, Anderson, & Luter locks to make the final 53, I want a new real #2 TE thru the draft, Farrell is a good blocking TE, we NEED a Blocking & Pass Catching TE, like Kittle, to groom to take over for Kittle.
Some notes:
I went with Mordecai or a Rookie as the 3rd QB, remember the emergency 3rd QB has to be on the 53-man roster, can't be a PS QB.
I went with just 3 backs for now, Taylor is leader IMO, he got reportedly $300K fully GTD, so they like him, but I can see Kyle drafting another back, & we keep hm or both, not sure where we would go light though.
I think the 49ers keep 6 WRs, with the unknown status of Aiyuk, Robinson due to injury & DUI, respectively, I think we draft a nice speedy WR, or maybe just maybe they sign a veteran like Conley, or someone bigger, but not likely unless after May 12th when FAs stop counting against the comp pick formula.
I went with 3 TEs for now, I know Kyle likes 4, but I think 3 is the number this year, so a draftee, or one of Tonges or Willis makes the 53, if not, maybe Pline.
I went 9 OL, only ones I'm confident in are TW, Puni, & Bartch, I like Hennessy as a backup IOL, Burford as well he played good when needed, I'm iffy on McKivitz, Brendel, & Zakelj, and obviously we NEED to draft a Tackle for Swing T spot/Future LT or RT.
I went 10 DL, I like Bosa, Gross-Matos, Okuayinonu, Givens, Elliott, Davis, & Anderson, beyond that idk, Beal makes it for now, but would be idea to pick two EDGEs, also IDL, draft at least 1 who can become starter ASAP.
Only 5 LBs for now, Warner, Winters, Bethune & Gifford are locked in IMO, they have Gifford $600K fully GTD, not saying he can't or won't be cut, but they like him so they need new ST players, he has to be better than Flannigan-Fowles.
11 DBs here, and I actually feel good about most of these 11, DMo is a stud, Green looks the part, I like the pickups of Brown & Neal, as well as Grant, & Pinnock, latter can play CB too, Grant FS & SS, of course I have Brown, Mustapha & Odum making it, with 1 rookie draft pick at CB.
ST is obvious for now.

Feels like too much depends on the rookie class at this point. No harm in starting to talk about it now but rookies will be key to having success this year.

Agreed, I just wanted to see what it may look like right now, and yes we need to be counting on nailing the 2025 draft big time.

I'm too excited to see what Patrick Taylor can do. His only start last year he gained 100+ yards. I dont see why he couldn't replace Mason.

Fans have been complaining about howthe team has gotten old a slow. Too many players that can't stay healthy. Now that they appear to be ready to address it fans are worried about too many rookies. I look forward to the restocking of talent. If it works they'll be in great shape cap wise and on the field. If it doesn't they try again next season. That's all you can do when your roster gets old and expensive.

Agree with a ton of this. Only changes would be - recognizing this is ideal world more than projection:
* 2 Rookie DE (1 plays big end on base downs and kicks inside on passing downs, 1 is pass rush specialist) - push Beal off the roster.
* Worried about safety. A lot hinges on Brown having a big development/bounce back season. Am hoping for a rookie there.
* Want to see Israel A make the RB roster. Maybe have to carry 1 less safety
* Add a rookie center and push one of Brendel/Hennessey off the roster. Hopefully a starter.

His only start was vs Miami and he was horrendous, both running & pass blocking. I'm ok with him as a 4th stringer on goal line but he's not very good

I'm actually pretty excited about Israel. I think he's made for this type of offense.

He started the last game and had over 100 yds.

Nah, guerendo started and left with injury but I do agree Taylor had a good game. His only game actually started was vs Miami and he was likely the worst player on the field

Can Drake be some sort of injury waiver or is his salary guaranteed?

I haven't seen much, if any, of either Tomlinson or Abinikanda, so I need to see, but if they keep 4 Israel is definitely in the mix, reason why they kept him entire season after claiming him off waivers, we'll see what Tomlinson can do.

His base salary is non-guaranteed, so if he's healthy, and released they only have his prorated bonus as dead money.

Not nearly as physical or as violent of a runner as Mason.
