I like the moxie I saw from Mac this game. He just kept trying to answer the Bucs everytime they scored. That's the kind of QB you need in the playoffs.
Of course he wasn't perfect or good enough for us to win this game.... but I just feel these kinds of games are going to be beneficial for him and our team if we still make a run for the Playoffs. The Bucs are a playoff team and we were in the game till close to the end.

Mac is a solid #2. With the current OL both not providing a run game or pass protection, as well as key skill guys out, he's making due with little help.
I'm glad he's around two years because 2025 is officially in mulligan status.

I got to hand it to Mac the 49er world is falling apart and he just keeps fighting against all odds...its remarkable...
Clearly we should have drafted this guy....I am still team Purdy...but I got a ton of respect for what Mac has done here....
Total 180 shift on how I feel ....but Mac earned that....

I don't think we should have spent the #3 overall pick on a guy who's giving us the same kind of performances that Nick Mullens did in 2018.

Macs lack of mobility was very Jimmy-esque. Thats the reason why statue QBs are generally a dying breed. Once Stafford retires I think only Goff will remain as a starting statue qb who is considered good ?
I am grateful for the games hes had and hes a warrior and a legend for that Rams game. But hes a backup in todays game. Teams will never worry about you taking off.
