I hope they run up the score on Jonathan Gannon, can't stand that dude.

ARZ is one of those teams it's hard to get a handle on
this game will be tough, connor is a beast, marvin harrison is a beast, and its always hard to chase down the little rascal!

Breece Hall is a beast, Garrett Wilson is a beast, Quinnen Williams is for sure a beast. 9ers did well vs them, so I think they'll be fine.

We do historically struggle with Kyler Murphy.

I can't get a good beat on this game. Cardinals looked good weeks 1 and 2 and bad weeks 3 and 4. Niners kind of look average and defense is suspect. I really don't know how this one will shake down

tight division matchup Niners by 3 is my early prediction
Keys to the game:

1. Kick the ball out of the Endzone on Kickoffs.
2. Kick the ball out of bounds on Punts.
3. Don't return any Kickoffs
4. Don't return or attempt to catch any punts.
5. Always try for TDs instead of Field Goals

A new HC will often surprise opponents early in the year bc nobody knows their scheme yet. Football prep is hard core analysis on known trends. Vanilla non scheme football is basically preseason games.

Way back when we sucked bad we hired Dennis Erickson

2003 week 1 we blew out Chicago 49-7 then we lost 3 in a row...just one example but there are many in NFL history like it

AZ is not a world beater...if you shut down Connor's power running game and explosive pass plays when Murray scrambles then you can win

Our historical problem with AZ (and mobile QBs in general) has been lack of pass rush containment.

this is the cheat code on kickoffs, if it can be mastered you gain 10 yards

Hope Fred is good to go cuz playing a mobile QB without him and no Dre will be a nightmare.

I'm annoyed cuz my wife's boss got her tickets for the Pats game on Sunday. That game is going to be boring enough but getting to the damn stadium and dealing with all the traffic and s**t and missing the early part of the 49ers game is not it. Still trying to talk her into going with her dad lol.

This is a key game for the 49ers. Have to win the rest of these divisional games after blowing the Rams game last weekend. Arizona and Seattle have both showed some really good things - including running the ball well. We have to control the game on offense and hope the defense makes enough key plays to keep them in check.

Connor seems to always have our number, stop him and force the midget to throw.

I'm bracing for that update on Fred. Hopefully he's just day to day.

There are good to great players on every team. This is a division game and a must win to keep pace with the Seahags.
