I think he's a pretty decent pick for R7.
Strengths
Came back from 2021 ACL tear with a productive season.
Intensity and competitiveness shine on tape.
Possesses above average ball skills.
Makes well-timed leaps and catches with strong hands.
Able to make athletic adjustments in air.
Sticky, aggressive run blocking stands out.

Nice pickup, he is going to be running free with the other weapons on this team. Reliable hands, I think he will be a security blanket for the QBs
Smack it up flip it rub it doooooown oh no

He'll be a third down converter working in the slot.

Bell's a winner...2-time Michigan captain. He won't wow you with speed, but has a lot of toughess & grit. He'll make a lot of tough catches. Seems a natural for Coach's offensive schemes.

I don't get why he was a 7th round pick.

We have Jennings two more years. He will be a RFA after this year, but there's not sensible reason to let him go until he's an UFA and his price skyrockets.

5th-year player coming back from ACL tear, played at Michigan which was 83th(!!) in passing yards, neither fast nor tall.

Led Michigan in receiving every year he was out there. Numbers deflated because they are not a passing centered offense or system.
Bell is just a good football player. He's aggressive and you wouldn't have known he was coming off an injury.
I can't really think of an NFL comparison for him, maybe a less thick version of Hines Ward. He's not a blazer but he's definitely much faster than Bourne and Jennings.
