John Chapman was saying he was getting burnt in practice during one on ones. And has yet to put together a consistent practice. Safeties will get owned during one on one drills but you still hate hearing this about your starting Safety.
You're right I heard that too, how he got burned by our number nine receiver even though safeties aren't expected to cover receivers you'd expect him to be a lot closer on some of those plays. He's pretty slow. I'm surprised how he got all those interceptions in college.
Hopefully he improves because it's our weakest position on the team and I wish we could just trade for a good safety even spending a second or third rounder would be worth it to me for a pro bowl type safety
