Purdy's accuracy is insane, but you can't really tell just by a couple of passes you see in the highlights. I think you really have to watch different angles, get a replay, to see how his anticipation and accuracy are out of this world. It will take a Superbowl win, at minimum, to shake people out of their cloistered beliefs.

CMC has a relatively light day on the job due to the Packers turning the ball over 3 times in their own territory - he ends up with 75 yds rushing on 12 carries and a TD.

49ers 45
Packers 20 << garbage time accounted for

My gut says the same thing too - a blowout. My logical intellect says it probably will be closer, but my gut says *on to the NFCCG!*

Probably true. They will say he needs to win 2 and win an NFL MVP. Just keep moving the goal posts. They still won't give him credit.

I really hate the hate that Purdy gets. Because I feel it's not true and it's so wildly exaggerated. I wish he didn't have that Ravens game. A lot of the country didn't watch him all year. Hundreds of millions watch on Christmas day. Because everybody is off. He has his WORST day ever as a pro. Just awful. 4 interceptions. A lot were tipped passes. But they still happened. The country and media then says see he sucks and is being carried by the team of weapons.

They didn't watch the whole year and body of work. They just don't understand. It's all so unfair. He's a heck of an accurate thrower and he can make off schedule plays too.

You should probably stop getting yourself so worked up over what people on TV/Twitter say.

Just ignore Nick WRONG, Steven Ruiz, this Raiders lady and random meatheads on Twitter? Maybe so. Just believe in the team and what we fans think is most important?

In her defense, outside of Jon Gruden, what offensive minds has she been around? I'm not counting Al Davis.

Agree, folks will move the goalposts. I do that all the time with Tom and Belichick - my problem is they still have 6 and 7 Lombardie's. Tough to move the goalposts when that's all I have is goal posts and they have all those Superbowl's. I think it will be the same with Purdy. Steve Young got into the Hall of Fame, largely on that 1994 game. Yeah I agree, maybe it will take two more, for the narrative bias to change.

Hope Kyle goes nuclear like his dad in 1994.

I don't understand how people like this get a platform. Is she Nick Wright's mom?

Each coach gives different vibe to different people. Hue Jackson was a hot HC candidate at one point by the media and the coaching circle when he was with Cincinnati. Then was hired by the Browns. I thought he was overrated. Another overrated dude around the same time was Adam Gase.

Yea we pretended we wanted to hire him once.

Agree! I'd love to see Brock throw 6 TD's and no interceptions against Green Bay!
Can't wait for Brock to shut these ignorant mofos up. The disrespect is so wild to me. He will prove them wrong over and over again, but they will chalk it up to great talent and system.
