With Kinlaw out for the season, AA is going to be seeing a ton more snaps at 3 tech. Charles Omenihu will essentially be replacing him on base downs. Promising young player that got caught in the churn of coaching staff changes and rebuilds.

This is a low risk, no regrets move. Especially as he's still on a rookie contract for 2022 as we look to rebuild our DE position opposite of Bosa.
Did we give up our 2022 5th round pick?

Hes ready to be an all pro

Sounds right. No legit bookend partner for Bosa so just throw more bodies at the problem (Ebukam, Willis, Ford, Key, Omenihu). Someone do something.
Texans giving away all their superstar players like it's going out of style, and we get this no-name
CHAMPIONSHIIIIIIIP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man. What happened to the "embarrassment of riches" at the defensive line? Lynch was supposedly getting calls about the DL in the preseason. Now beginning to think it was just a bunch of fluff garbage
Whole lot of power with go-go gadget arms. No real pass rush moves to speak of, at least not with any consistency but has a vicious punch that can rock OL's.

Well they need to give Bosa a few less snaps or he will wear out or get injured. It is too bad the first big splash signing of Dee Ford has not produced enough. I think this was a no brainer, more qb pressure helps db's.

Kerr didn't work out and Hurst has been injured. Those are two guys that were part of the depth we loved in the offseason. Now Kinlaw is IR'ed and that depth is gone. I thought Street was going to be a player after his good preseason, and that hasn't worked out either.
hope this works out
well, it doesn't hurt to add more depth.

Can only hope it works out.

Who was overrating Key? I was surprised he even made the roster. Injuries have been the main issue with Hurst and Kinlaw missing significant time. If both of those guys are staying in the lineup then I think is a much different situation.
