Wonder how this same analytics, collaboration, & prioritizing best available over team need process worked during the Solomon Thomas over Patrick Mahomes decision?

It's more about how the 49ers use analytics combined with film and team collaboration to arrive at a decision. Also, how the rookie DC got a measly 6th round pick to get a LB, and then that got taken away from him (lol).

Hello Faithful,
Only March and already getting antsy about what could be another great run!
Regarding Elijah, can someone confirm if he sustained an injury on that last play v Dallas on the divisional?
His health aside, have to feel pretty good about our RB room, with Mason n TDP showing promise.

LOL
This man is going to run harder than ever next season. Has to provide for a family and he has CMC sitting there ready to take the whole cake.

If it's one thing Shanahan and Lynch can do it's finding running backs.

That's why it makes you wonder why they keep drafting one in the 3rd..

49ers RB Elijah Mitchell (core) was cleared for OTAs.
Mitchell was on the field for the 49ers' first open practice on Tuesday. The third-year back is on track to be fully healthy after missing 12 games to injury last season. Mitchell will open 2023 as the 49ers' RB2 and the top hedge to Christian McCaffrey.

If he can have a big year the Niners offense will be scarier
