We haven't had a playmaker at the safety position like this since probably Tony Parrish.

I think we can keep Huff. But Aiyuk can get 18 - 22 IMO. A harder extension to do.

Yes Aiyuk will be harder. We have more leverage on Hufanga because he is only a 4th round pick. He will probably willing to take less to secured the long term contract. He can still be in the 14M-20M range.

If Aiyuk continues to do play this well he will want more than Deebo. Deebo had 24M a year.

Deebo was 1st team All Pro. I can't see Aiyuk doing that. But if he did, it would be a good problem to have. I did forget Kirk got like 18, so yeah Aiyuk has to get at least 22 per if he's on this trajectory.

2 years difference, so I don't think Aiyuk needs to be an all pro to get $24M, maybe just a pro bowler. Deebo's contract might be an issue to his ego, if most people believe he is better than Deebo. It is possible we will need to trade one of them away.

And such a clean hit, exactly how the new league wants it done.

We finally have a playmaker at the safety position.

Why would we need to trade one of them away? Ego? Deebo & BA are like best friends, unselfish players, both will be 49ers for a long long time IMO. No need to trade either away.

This is what I was thinking. BA and Deebo are so close, if BA gets a contract that's worth more annually, Deebo would stoked. Sure, he might have an ego, but Deebo's ego is no where near that level some are insinuating.

All you gotta do is check out the mic'd up from the Steelers game and check Deebo's reaction to both of BA's tuddies.

My thought was that we cannot afford to keep two WR at these salaries. Maybe we can do it for one year but that might be it.

that TE wasn't likely going to make the catch even if Huf didn't hit him, but I loved that he did and HAMMERED him LEGALLY.

I actually expected a flag. I know the hit was clean as could possibly be. But the NFL refs have called this a defenseless receiver so many times that I was ready to chuck my controller at the wall because I expected a flag to be on its way.

He will think twice again when going into the middle. This is to send a message for future pass catch attempts.

Nope, we're able to keep both Brandon & Deebo long term, all about the structure of the deals. APY doesn't mean squat to me when it comes to the salary cap, just cause Bosa averages $34M doesn't mean he'll count $34M against the cap the first 3 seasons each year of the deal, he actually counts less than that for those 3 yrs(2023-2025).

Great! Are we going to be in cap hell any time soon? I wonder how long our Superbowl window is. That depends on the draft going forward but I suppose salary cap can also be a big factor.

No, I don't foresee us being in cap hell anytime soon.
is he cyst ok?
The amount that he is around the ball is astonishing. Getting interceptions and fumble recoveries. It's just expected at this point. But his ball skills at safety in the secondary are unusual. We are just used to it now and it's expected. But he's incredible.

if a ball pops up there is an entire 49ers nation that thinks "huff"....

That is special.....that is not a normal thing to have an entire fan base see that as opportunity for one dude...

Side note...has he even had a snap this year that he was a liability?

So Blessed to have this dude on the the team.
