Should have just given the officer the keys and told his friend why'd you throw me the keys and get me in trouble or should have just not catch the keys and let it hit the ground. Of course some drama queen here on the zone would want him dropped from the team cause he could catch the keys and probably end up dropping an interception....
Even good friends do dumb things, and since we don't really know what happened, it may have been that his friend tossed the keys to Demo so he could give them to the cop who was closer to him.
The fact that the only one charged was Demo tells me the talked about "gun and drugs" were either fictions or legal.
I agree he should have just given the cop the keys ... but even with that we don't really know what the heck happened.
