This could really be an up and down the field game unless the weather turns bad. Similar to the NO game last season. Seahawks have no pass rush at all so JG should have plenty of time. Niners pass rush is better but they still aren't great so Wilson will have time too plus he can still scramble. Both teams should probably score in the high 30s or even in the 40s.

yeah covering lockett and Metcalf is going to be a real challenge - those guys are really good. Lockett makes amazing catches

Niners will have to score 35+ to win, maybe 40+

It's a challenge like because their top end speed forces CB's to bail and if Wilson gets 4-5 seconds the zines are stretched way too far.

Won't be enough possessions to have a score that high for either team. Patriots held the ball for 5 minutes the whole first half on Sunday I'm expecting shanny to bring a similar run heavy play action pass scheme to control the tempo amd time of the game limiting Seattle's explosive offense.

Those two corners, Verrett and Moseley, are looking good.

I won't be upset if we lose this game. Seattle has been playing lights out and they have an unstoppable force in DK. I was not expecting us to beat NE.
I figured we would beat LA, Lose against, NE, SEA, then maybe beat the packers and Saints and be at .500. if we can get one win the next 3 weeks we'll be at .500 after the toughest part of the schedule.
The only reason is that last year we had Russ Running for his life almost every down, haha...wont be that way this year.

Pete Carroll has had 3 years to study Kyle's tendencies. The defense at least schematically is somewhat similar so they know how to attack it.
It's going to come down to talent pretty much. Is the 49ers offensive line better than Seattle's front 7 and vice versa? Are our WRs better than their DBs? Etc
Don't expect a ton of holding calls so DangeRuss should be able to put up big numbers against a weak pass rush.
Defensively, it will probably be an ugly game, Niner Talk will be calling for Saleh to be fired, the defensive key here will be 3rd downs and redzone. 49ers are top 10 in both categories.
We hate Seattle so much, this thread should be pushing 100 by Sunday.

Unless we can borrow Kyler Murray I don't see us winning this. Plus Russ isn't going to toss 3 picks again.

It's going to come down to how our backups play against them. Easy win if we had Bosa and/or Ford and Mostert and deebo. I guess it's better to be lucky than good for Seattle

missing 10 starters. they will probably be missing 3.
regardless we have a chance if we can play with constant energy and extreme violence

We do but with our lack of pass rush, it's going to destroy us and be the deciding factor in a niners loss imo

Hopefully they keep the same starting Safeties. Russell Wilson owns Jimmie Ward!!
