Charlie Woerner l TE, ATL

He looks like a typical TE with a bit more mobility.

Daniel Jeremiah was just giving him glowing reviews on ESPN. Called him the best blocking TE and special teams player in the draft. If that's all he contributes to this team, then it's still a great late round pick.

That's all we need from a 6th

You know he is writing a list of all the TEs picked before him, for revenge

Here's to hoping he has the hidden receiving ability that simply wasn't showcased due to the scheme/gameplan.

Remember, Tom Rathman didn't much pass catching production in college.

He ain't turning into Kittle. But he should be a great blocker that can find the seams in a defense and be a nice security blanket for Jimmy. Solid #3 TE if not a good #2.
I really like this pick a lot now. He might be a better blocker than Kittle
He is another multi positional pick. Beside TE, he has played H-back and Fullback. A bit tall for fullback, but Hurd was a bit tall for rb and since when did size dictate how Kyle dictates their use on offense. Juz contract is up after this season.

As a receiver, you can't compare him to Kittle, as Kittle ran a 4.52, but he may have potential to be good as a more conventional.

His best attribute may be as a potential special teams ace who also adds some utility to the offense.

I think he has the potential to be like Garrett Celek but a much better blocker. Or Logan Paulsen but a better receiver.

This.

I still think we need to get Kittle a true partner in crime. That being said, this kid can hold down the #3TE spot and sub in at FB.
