Burford is your man!

I don't know about HAVE TO ... but it would certainly be nice. They didn't have one when they traded for Trent.

It would be nice. Last I checked there are about 9 OT and C prospects rated in the first 2 rounds.
I have no doubt the 49ers will attack the OL this draft the same way they approached the DL

It is time to reload

They absolutely have to, regardless if injuries. Whether it be draft or a trade . He's not getting any younger and it's a strong draft class

They're projected to have 10 picks with the additional 3 4th round and one 5th compensatory picks. If the draft is really loaded with O lineman like some are saying they should be able to restock and still get another WR and RB.

Would like to see C and LT addressed and another round of some ER and DT. Throw in TE as well

Barford = another one of Shanny and Foerster's love child

Kyle isn't picking center anywhere early in the draft. It's the most obvious position on offense he can't stomach developing a high pedigree guy.

There's a reason Nugent is the only developmental true center they have had in past few years. And he's an udfa.

As much as I despise Burford for blowing his assignment in the superbowl the way he did - I have always felt like the Niners have forced him to play out of his natural positions.

We've forced him to play RG and he's never really looked comfy there. He looked way better at LG and decent at tackle. He was always a tackle. Keeping him to the left side should be priority.

I don't want him as the future LT, I want us to draft a first or second round prospect with potential.

He might be better at his natural position than he is at where they put him at times, but that's really not saying much But I kinda get what you're saying... maybe just kept him at LT and developed him there instead of switching him around. That definitely could've helped. But you know the staff #FAFO

I wish they would've drafted a couple more (didn't have to be early rounds) and tucked them on the PS to groom. I think they might try to buy one (like Trent) instead of develop one from day one, but wth do I know

Can't force it. If there isn't the right player there in the first 3 rounds you don't reach for need. Need is fine after that.

I think Moss projects to center. I don't know what a "true center" is. Most centers have played guard too.
what did Walsh always say? Walk away a year or 2 early rather then keep the player to long. With that new contract we should have all seen they should have cut him. Warrior in his time HOFer but his time has past.

Way too early to tell. Last year he was still very good.

Walsh also wanted to start kids if their coach felt that they could be better than the vet ahead of them within a year. Kyle REALLY doesn't go with that one.
