Ayuik to the Raiders for Davanta? I don't know if this even works but I would like it

No... Adams would want to be "The Man"... Deebo already has that gig.

I say send his arse to the Browns for AMari and a second rounder straight up.

He already said he doesn't want to go th Browns. No t team is going to give up capital for a player that it's a guarantee he will sign

I can't fault him for wanting to go to a team with an established QB but if that is the case, I don't see him wanting to go to the pats or Raiders either.

My hope is that we can send him to vegas for Adams and whatever else. restructure Adams contract and give him some guaranteed money. Have him for 2-3 years and get our younger guys developed.

Ya if we trade him and BA is fine with LV, that would be the trade for us.

Yeah I'm not putting Aiyuk down but Adams is a bigger threat in the pass game. Would be amazing to get him. He wants to compete now, so maybe that would work.

I think the issue is that LV doesn't have a qb, so idk if Aiyuk would accept an extension there. Although it keeps him close to his family.

I'm tired of players like Aiyuk and Trent Williams. Players that sign contracts and then hold out after 3 or 4 seasons wanting more. Aiyuk would sit at home the next 3 seasons without getting a dime if I owned the team. The NFL is really wearing thin on me. From the selective officiating to the diva players.

I tend to agree. We shall see.

Would be nice but I'm not feeling optimistic about that. Maybe he isn't inlove with his trade options and ends up thinking staying here is best for him? Would be cool

Idk why you're upset with them.

Aiyuk just wants what the market is saying an all pro WR is.

Trent is at the end of career and the best at his position, he just wants to be paid like it and have guaranteed money on his contract incase he gets hurt.

really can't fault them. It sucks but I understand both of their positions.
Not sure I've ever soured on a dude so rapidly. Trade him to the pats. Enjoy that extra $8mil in that NE weather on a team that will almost certainly devalue you by more than the extra money you make.

It comes down to what his market value is. 49ers say one thing, Aiyuk says another. It's, in my opinion, a good way for either Aiyuk or the 49ers (or both) to really accurately gauge Aiyuk's true NFL value. Once that is done, this will be resolve one way or another. Hopefully in the 49ers favor. P.S. 49ers hold all the cards.

Have you watched Pittsburgh games? Not all them are toss up plays and as we all know, Brock Purdy has thrown it up last year, including back shoulder throws against Pittsburgh so whether Shanahan or not has those plays drawn up, that's the reality of football, those plays happen all the time.

Again what about Shanahan would seem to say he favored those plays. He hates off schedule stuff more than most and literally has said it but when it works he cant complain. His mind wants a check down to CMC over a ball bouncing off a players helmet for a big play. He will take it but he's cursing till it works out to be positive.

He wants that 4.3 guy to stretch the defense or a route runner not the 50/50 type who makes it 70/30. But Pickens is still a talented guy, wouldnt be the worst... but just not the mold of anyone he's ever looked for before.

I wouldn't do it, but I understand Trent's position. I don't agree at all with BAs.

if he was worth what he thinks he's worth, someone would have offered an agreeable trade package. He's not, and they didn't.

BA is good. Maybe great. But he doesn't have last years stats with 28 of the 32 NFL teams. Kyle is a quantifiable value-add to BAs 2023 statistics

Shanahan isn't holding out 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Agree 💯% It's the consequence of having free agency and the Cap in the NFL. Players are, in a sense, mercenaries - hired by the team that will pay the most. Even Purdy, will play *only* for the team that gives him the best contract from a value/money standpoint next year. If folks think signing Aiyuk is hard, wait till Purdy's up next - in a year. There's going to be a nuclear meltdown sometime around this time next year.

Aiyuk has made it clear that competing and winning is second fiddle to his desire for a pay day

I'd wager it won't be near as difficult to resign purdy. More money, yes. Less b******t haggling, also yes

See what he looks like after a season without Aiyuk, potentially. Good chance at facing more adversity.

Not a bad thing when we're getting ready to pay a QB beaucoup dolla.

The reality is that there are teams willing to pay Aiyuk what he desires. Question is are they willing to trade assets to us for him and does Aiyuk want to be on those teams.
