2) is just unmentionable

Sorry

Typo lol
Witherspoon was embarrassed by Cousins and got boo'd off the field. Seattle's D always had ballers at the safety positions that made the corners job easier. Notice how much better their secondary was when they acquired Diggs from Detroit
Tavarious Moore is tall a f and one of the FASTEST guys on the football team. Freak of nature but his awareness gets him into trouble sometimes. Still a perfect CB prototype, in terms of physicality.Too good .So good , that he got transferred to play safety.

if we had some other Tavarious Moores' in the draft , ......

Diggs, Metcalf, Thomas, ...niners weakness is mobile qbs and tall, elite WRs.

Size doesn't always matter - look at Witherspoon. I'd rather have a 6 footer that can cover, than a 6'2" guy who gets burned all the time. I consider 6'0" the optimum size for a CB.

HE needs coaching... and needs to watch more film on how to PLAY THE BALL !!!
Spoon misjudged that ball to Diggs in the playoff game and was a little slow on another play before that. You can't be patient in a playoff game, and maybe EMan should have been starting anyway so replacing him was a no brainer. Were plays like those a pattern for him throughout the year, or was that series just magnified because it was a playoff game? I think the softness label is unjustified, but maybe I need to see some film.
In the NFL size does matter ay least when it relates to CB...Well when it comes to the history of the NFL
A list was complied of the top 15 NFL CBs in history
only 3 of 15 are under 6 ft tall
2 of those 3 are 5'11.... Darrelle Revis and Ty Law
There is only one short CB...Darrell Green (One of the fastest CB ever) 5'9
The Top 15 CBs
Dick Lebeau 6'1
Ty Law 5'11
Mel Renfro 6'0
Richard Sherman 6'3
Willie Brown 6'1
Darrell Green 5'9
Herb Adderly 6'0
Champ Bailey 6'0
Darrelle Revis 5'11
Mike Haynes 6'2
Charles Woodson 6'1
Dick "Night Train" Lane 6'1
Deion Sanders 6'1
Rod Woodson 6'0
Mel Blount 6'3
I understand playing CB in the NFL, its mostly about speed, athleticism and body control but without a doubt size has been a significant factor

Sometimes you will get a little guy who is faster and jumps higher then a tall guy. This position is all about the fight in the dog rather then the dog in the fight. I would rather a guy shorter then Spoon who is more aggressive in trying to stop a WR making a play on the ball rather then let the WR catch it and then try and stop him. We need a CB to be more aggressive and breaking up the play regularly.

Good write-up

I think it will be a training camp battle between Mosley and Witherspoon for opening day starter

This. Speed over height now. Out DBs are too slow to keep up with that speed all game.

I don't trust Witherspoon and i don't trust our safeties.

The CB's are the only ones making plays on the ball, give me a Safety who does that!!!

Yeah, this guy with Ward returning and Tartt won't get to see the field much at safety plus he takes bad angles. He did totally bomb at corner because that's where the need is for his athleticism.
Wonder if Moore might make a good replacement for Tartt after this coming season? Hopefully Moore gets on the field more this season, so we can see what we have in him.
