People may blame Jimmy, but perhaps the real culprit is the OL. Jimmy may be throwing off-balance, or before the route develops properly, etc.

Garoppolo's pick-fest began innocuously. He tried to thread a deep pass to TE Ross Dwelley, who was blanketed by LB Kwon Alexander, and the pass caromed off Dwelley's right hand and was corralled by Tartt.

However, Garoppolo's final four INTs were relatively easy for the defense.

* He targeted RB Matt Breida deep down the right sideline, but the pass hung in the air and was grabbed by Moore.

* He targeted Dwelley in the right flat, but Sherman stepped in front of it en route to a would-be pick six.

* In a red-zone drill, on a play from the 4-yard line, he looked to WR Dante Pettis, who was well-covered by Witherspoon in the left corner of the end zone. He briefly looked away from Pettis before setting his sight on him again. It was an easy ick for Witherspoon.

* In red-zone work, on a play from the 8-yard line, Garoppolo targeted Dwelley over the middle near the goal line, but Moore jumped the route and took off another potential pick-six.
