Yup. No doubt. and he's as key and cornerstone to everything we do. The play that will stick is him taking the cheese on Pacheco.
Yup he was great. But that's the difference between winning a super bowl and losing. Discipline.
He took the bait. There was little to no chance Bosa would run down the RB on the play for a loss anyhow. He just guessed wrong.
KC watched the Detroit game and saw Bosa get abused all night on the edge. Reid saved that play for the exact moment they needed it.
Andy Reid vs Nick Bosa in a chess match is like Einstein vs. Slingblade.
Yeah Bosa's 12 pressures and 2 TFL really made him look stupid. Derp.
KC's offense was pure trash most of the game. Our offense and ST lost this game.
He's f**kin troll.

Ya but....he is a beast.
Good game but got his ass handed to him with the SB on the line. Pretty sure we pay him not to look like a donkey on that play.

He had a great game but a lapse in judgement cost him legendary status. Football games come down to a handful of plays that really change everything. All he had to do was his job, stay in his lane.
That's it. And this board is 180 today talking about a repeat.

How often do you see Bosa stay home? He's almost always crashing, which means he's being coached to do that. Bosa isn't stupid.
That play was made worse because nobody was behind to exchange gaps with him.

If you dont think Mahomes is getting the ball in that instance your an idiot. It wasnt even close. No excuses. He s**t the bed. Just stay in your lane! The ends were actually pretty good at it for good chunks of the game so the coached up comment doesnt hold water.

He's been doing it the entire year because that's what he's coached to do. I didn't see anyone complaining when Bosa stopped a handful of Pacheco's runs from the backside.
In the wide 9, they always have the end crash for the scrape exchange. I hate to point fingers, but it was likely Fred's job to replace Bosa. That's why Bosa throws his hands up like wtf.

I understand you're emotional, but this is reality whether you like it or not. Said it above, but in the wide 9, they always have the end crash for the scrape exchange. Unfortunately, Andy Reid put them in a blender with an RPO that forced Fred to carry the crosser.

RPO is run pass option....the second Mahomes takes the ball its Bosas job to keep him in the pocket not to crash inside. Mahomes isn't going for the sneak! Reid knows Bosa has no discipline on this type of play.

What the hell are you talking about a sneak? It's a RPO with a zone read mesh point. The second Mahomes gets to the mesh point, it's Bosa's job to crash, and a LB's job to replace the C gap. If the backside LB plays the dive and doesn't replace Bosa, you end up having 2 people in 1 gap and gives the QB an unabated run. This is basic football stuff.

Football is not that complicated
from a coach I know. Bosa was crashing the entire game(hell, for many seasons now). If Wilks wanted him to do something different, he should've changed the call with Bosa's technique and the defenses' assignments.

Big part of KC gameplan was leaving Bosa unblocked to crash the back. As an unblocked defender, he did the same thing every time. Had a TFL shortly before this. Coaches need to know that as soon as the TFL comes from crashing RB, you better switch up the tech of your read DE 🏄🔋 https://t.co/XvlHRMSSr9

Coaching him to crash should be malpractice. Him impacting the play is unlikely and the risk is huge. Who covers the abandoned gap?

He literally had 2 TFL from crashing down. The wide 9's nature is downhill and aggressive. I've never seen an end slowplay the mesh and squeeze down the line on this type of play in the wide 9.
The backside LB on the play is almost always supposed to replace the crashing end.

Just saw your photo. That makes sense.
So the LBs over-pursued.
