Cliff notes?
Welp, basically Joey talks about how much further along Nick is then him at this point in their careers. He also talks about how he dealt with his own hamstring issue as a rookie. He started working with strength and conditioning coach Todd Rice after that...they worked on many things one major one being flexibility/speed.
Joey said it's now a year-round routine which is a "near-religious reverence" for him. Joey said after starting to workout with him he doesn't have soft tissue issues and has become much more flexible and explosive.
Nick has started working out with Rice and Joey, but due to having to be at OSU and the pre-draft process, he hasn't been able to make it a year-round routine (need consistency). Nick will go with Joey and Rice and workout over the course of this month long "time off."
Joey talks about health and now that Nick is done with all the riggers of the pre-draft stuff along with everything at OSU (can solely focus on health and football) he will be able to maintain being healthy.
I mean it makes total sense, these guys need to get a routine going and find out what is best for them. Kittle talked a lot about it, he's got a routine and now is able to focus on football/nutrition/health more than he ever could in college.
