I hope this thing doesn't linger all season.

People don't factor in common sense....as long as it's not an issue with his previous injury or something like an ACL/broken bone/Achilles I'm not worried about it.

Bro. He tore his core. Everything is connected to the core. So many injuries can be ti d to that injury. A real massuse can work out back issues, loosening a groin, or a hammy.

OR. Something in his core might not be functioning 100% correctly, and his hamstring could be overcompensating.

Quinnen was doing work on the side with the injury,...whereas Durant had to nurse it and stay home and was "nowhere near returning" just a few days ago per his coach.

Not at all the same,...nor is a knee booboo. If the knee is non-functional,...well, that is a different story altogether.

You invest alot in picks. No need trotting them out there when not needed. You're really looking @ the other draft picks during this time and seeing what they can bring to the table. The shoe-ins for your 53 aren't your main focus right now.

I don't want Durant back. Durant's not injury prone. Like bosas whole family. It is a concern, it was on draft day
He was shut down now so it isn't something that lingers on for weeks or months into the season. No sense in having any kind of setback or exacerbating the situation. Bosa already plays edge rusher at an NFL caliber level.

He'll be ready for training camp

im sure he wont get hurt in TC
With his past and the curse of Levis, he's destined for great things on the bench

Exactly

Anyone taking odds Boosa will be a bust?

Only 6 days of OTAs left - so it isn't like he's going to miss a ton.

He really isn't missing much. Its a minor injury that requires two weeks of rest. No reason why he shouldn't be good to go for training camp.

Yeah, he should be fine. Rest up and get him ready for TC.

Have you been following football long enough to know what the term "Injury Prone" means?? Hint: it means more than simply being able to be injured should someone take a sledge hammer to your knee.

Guys like Rice proved to be the opposite of being "injury prone" on the field. Had an early minor blip and was yanked down as an old man by Sapp for one late. Aside from that, 16 after 16 after 16. In spite of always getting the ball and being a target.

While I know it's your M.O.,...there's no need to suggest insanely stupid stuff like "Jerry Rice was just as injury prone" to defend a guy with a grade 1 hamstring injury.

All the pardons and excuses in the world before snap #1 aint gonna do it for a rook,...regardless of what you post. Complaining about it and calling all players equally injury prone (they aren't) aint moving the needle.

and your guy is currently dealing with a injury in his own right. Ironic, rookie prospects aren't ready to roll in May OTAs, it's almost like that's something that happens every yr

I know exactly what "injury prone" means....Jimmie Ward is injury prone.

having one serious injury in 3 yrs does NOT equal "injury prone" having a grade one hammy pull in May OTAs does NOT equal "injury prone" unless of course you have a narrative to push.

Dr. Chao (former NFL team doctor) did a write up of his core injury and said there shouldn't be any issue with the injury going forward or that injury in particular would cause him to get hurt elsewhere.

He simply hasn't played or done football related things (1 on 1 PR drills) since Oct. It's a grade one hammy pull lowest of the low. Zero reasons to make him go back at it in May OTAs. Hamstrings can get worse if they rush back onto the field.

Are we just going to forget that Nick is better than Joey?

Joey messed up his hamstring, missed some games as a rookie and still got 10.5 sacks on his way to DROY.

Nick has been described to do things the same as Joey just a lot earlier.

Nick is getting the hamstring injury out of the way so he can get 16.5 sacks on his way to DROY this year. All good.

Thank you NY. Was just gonna post about this. Nothin but 9ers crew interviewed an ex team doctor and he said the same (prolly the same guy).
