The only player in recent memory I wanted as badly as Bosa was Willis....mayyybee Crabtree until all the drama post selection.

I just really had a strong feeling that if they got Bosa, it would put them into playoff contention. Did I envision Bosa being a puzzla piece to a Super Bowl run.

f**k no. Nobody woulda said they were even close to contention.

But he is such a talented player at a premium position the Niners sorely lacked.

Huge difference maker and really hard not to like the guy. Just seems to love the game, go about his work, and has a humble sort of confidence that you gotta love.

Now for the love of god, let's have football this season.

Holy cow this guy gon' be the first half $billion defensive player.

damn I expected him to make top 50, but 17 thats pretty solid for first year.

That shows what a crap shoot the draft can be. If we would have needed a tackle more than an end we likely would have drafted Williams who many people had rated right up there with Bosa. It just came down to need. They were considered the top 2 D linemen in the draft. One had a great rookie season and the other was just okay. We got the right one.

AGree. If we still had Pre-DUI-Aldon Smith as our franchise DE/Leo (vs Bosa) we probably would have gone with Williams. As it is, we got Bosa. Still pumped about that! Now he has a monster rookie DT playing next to him that has **possibly** the kind of talent a Warren Sap or Joe Green has, and man o man if that's the case Bosa is going to have a field day as a pass rusher this year.

Not even close. The ceiling will be $200M for six years. My personal guess is he signs for a $150M five-year extension in the 2022 offseason.

Bosa should've been game planned by mid year let alone after the Panthers game and still couldn't be stopped. As long as Ford and the others on the dline stay healthy and produce Bosa should put up big numbers

This is the key. If the Dline is healthy, Bosa is getting 15+. It's crazy how our Dline would go through Oline.
