And restructuring his contract totally f'd us for next season. He's gonna be on the team next year, or we're stuck with $20 million in dead money.
I'm sorry but that decision is fireable. Lynch needs to go (and Paraag with him).

Agreed. I'd say in fairness that Paraag is supposed to be the cap "guru". He had to sign off on this. He f'ing blew it!
If I were shanalynch I'd make him an example

That responsibility for the restructure is on GM/HC. First you decide whether he's a long term member of the team. That's GM/HC. Then you involve the cap guy to work it out. The cap guy is not going to do something like decide what the longer term plans are for a player. And is folly to believe that he would.
I've said from the day of first hire: Lynch is an amateur. I'll add "stuffed shirt" to that characterization now that I've witnessed him in action. It was a very poor hire and he is a terrible complement to Shanahan, who's brilliant but immature. Lynch was supposed to be the steadying influence, but he's just inept.
Paraag may be the only competent executive in the front office. Make no mistake, without him this team is a train wreck.

49ers have to get rid of him in the offseason. Dee Ford will do this again next season if he's still here.

He absolutely will. He'll buy off some MD to give a super positive "prognosis" and the FO will eat it up Richjured-style.
