I wanted Barr but I'm ok with Kwon. I've seen out two biggest needs, above safety or corner were ER and a stack backer. Our LB's made our FS look terrible early.

why did we sign this guy to play ILB when we have Warner? 13 mil per season should go towards OLB/EDGE.. id rather have Justin Houston for 10 mil..

Wouldn't be the deal I'd want but I'll see how it plays out. That's a lot of guaranteed money for a kid coming off ACL injury, hopefully we have some protections in place should he miss time but at least they're going for it.

It's actually not as bad as you think. 27 guaranteed means his first two seasons he's here. But if he underperforms or doesn't live up to the aspirations of the team they can cut or trade after 2 years. The 49ers have two middle hook defenders, a weak and strong. Fred plays strong; Kwon plays weak.
