It's the Superbowl man. If there's a time to play through injuries that would be it, I'd do the same thing

Playing with one arm didn't help the team.

I though it might have been a huge amount of rust. He wasn't back to his old self in any of the playoff games. This explains it.

Hope he heals quickly and is 100% at the start of training camp. He is scary when he is in form. 34 tackles in 8 games plus playoffs is a great effort.
Interesting that going on I.R. he didn't opt for the surgery right away.

I thought he already had one surgery straight away for the torn pec and reinjured it when he came back in the playoffs sometime requiring the second surgery?

Not when you miss tackles because you are rusty as well as hurt.
Wow so we put this dude on the field with all those injuries and it showed too. He was god awful in the game. We gotta be smarter in big games.

Greenlaw was up to the job. Perhaps KA didn't let on straight away. It is good he is super keen but the team interest has to come first

That's what is confusing. The surgery he's having now is for a torn bicep. Did that happen in the playoffs or did he have that along with the torn pec? If so, why not have surgery on both at the same time?

The team knew the risk and played him anyway. Let's also not pretend that the vast majority of this board (at the time) would choose to put a one armed Kwon in over Azeez. He only played SAM, Greenlaw still saw more snaps and stayed at WILL

Shows we need depth at linebacker.

Hindsight is undefeated. When the guy that would have replaced you is an UDFA who stunk during the regular season, damn right any team would choose the guy that got paid the big bucks to be the staple of the LB room to play the rusty as well as hurt guy in the SB.
