Remember intially we were looking at Jerome Henderson as DBs coach/passing game coordinator and Saleh as LBs/DC but that fell through.
Woods turned down the Redskins and Browns DB coaching spots so i suspect he will have more of a role with the 49ers plus an obvious choice as DC if Saleh struggles early next season.
Solid hire. He has a terrific resume as DBs coach and was ok as a DC. He was Tomlin's right hand man in Tampa and Minnesota and comes from that Monte Kiffen coaching tree.
